Diesel Exhaust Solution (Urea) is a high-purity urea solution used in selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems to reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions from diesel engines. Commonly known as Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), it helps vehicles and equipment meet stringent emissions regulations by converting NOx into harmless nitrogen and water vapor within the catalyst. The standard commercial grade is a 32.5% urea solution in deionized water (often referred to as AUS 32), ensuring optimal freezing/boiling behavior and catalyst performance.
